Overhead light not working..
Hey guys,
ever since i bought my car, i havent been able to use my overhead light. If i put a globe in it, it will work, but never shuts off, even will all door closed. what could be the problem?
EDIT: car does recognise when i open the door, headlights turn off when i turn the car off and open the door.

Is your key light also constantly on? Or does it go out after 30 seconds of the door being shut?

Sounds to me like you have turned the overhead lamp on - check the small dial behind the headlight switch - it controls the instrument light brightness and the overhead light.

The switch has 3 settings,
Top: Interior light ON
Middle: Dash brightest
Bottem: Dash dull.
When your switch is on Middle, the light will turn off after the door period of 20seconds(or what ever it is) or if you lock it with the key.

I did the same, but the other way around, I turned the dash brightness down, and for the life of me couldn't figure it out. XD
