Bought VS 3 days ago & having some issues. Advice plz? (newbie)

Hi everyone.

I'm new here on the forum & I'm a MechanicallyIlliterate female, so please take this into consideration when explaining anything to me

Just purchased a VS Commodore series 2 Executive 3 days ago & the night I bought it, on way home it just conked on me. The guy I purchased from came up street & managed to get her running again & all was fine.

Then a day after it was hard to start (cold start) which took a few goes before it fired up.
Next day, same issue, only this time, took more tries before firing up.
Today, it took 5-6 tries before it would run. & tonight ..... I came home, went to use my key remote thingy & it's dead & wont lock my car now!!

So it appears I have a couple issues & wondering if others have had same symptoms all together like me? & what will I need to look at $$$ to get mechanics to fix?

So disappointed that I cant enjoy my car a little while before I run into probz.

Check for error codes. Do a quick search there are heaps of threads showing you how to do it. A dodgy crank angle sensor can cause problems starting and also cause car to stall. As for central locking have you tried the spare key? Check your fuses

i'd be checking the battery in the car aswell or try another battery see if it makes a difference

Will search the forum as suggested, & No spare key when I purchased car, just the 1 which has died on me. & sounds like this is expensive to fix/replace
Will get someone to check fuses as well.

The guy I just bought this car off of said had a new battery.
Feel like banging my head on bonnet right now lol.
Its only hard to start first time in day, after that car starts with no issues - Just cold start is a pain.
