lighting problem

im my vs the interior light isnt working near the key hole, it is a tiny little bulb that has a green cover that isnt ment to light up when the door is opened or unlocked, im not sure because it hasnt worked for about 7 years and now i have it off my parents i want to make it work, i checked and it doesnt look blown, i checked the fuses and they all seem fine. and soloutions ??? thanks.

Should try putting in a new T5 globe, sometimes they might look ok, but they can be blown. So if a new globe doesn't work then you can go from there.

thanks mate, yea i work at supercheap so i'll just grab a bulb next time im working its pretty much my only option apart from fuses, but yea the other lights around it work

If you're not sure of the condition of the bulb, get your hands on a multimeter and do a resistance check across the two terminals. If the reading is open circuit your bulb is blown.
