vs high pressure hose

hi guys jus replaced my power steering pump and wen i got it out i couldnt get the high pressure line off the back of the pump soo i had 2 cut it then replace the whole high pressure line ive put the new pump in and got the hi pressure line bolted on the back of it but cant get the bolt done up on the steering rack end any body else had this problem or no of any tips

I would undo the hose from the pump and then get the line done up from the steering rack first, it can be very fiddly and if you try and force it you can easially strip the nut. Is the hose you bought off the same model just check the size of the connection.

well could there really be much difference? mine is a series 2 esteem any 1 no if there is a difference
