    Default 96 VS Diff

Hey guys, i swapped my VN for a VS about a month ago. The car is currently unregistered, and whenever i start her and put it into D it jolts into gear. OR if i put it in R then into D it jolts but not as much. Is the diff stuffed? Or loose screws? Or something else? The diff is LSD if that has anything to do with the problem? Any help is appreciated i dont want to waste my time putting it on the road and something happens to the back diff where it just sits while ive paid to have it on the road

Sounds like it might be more the transmission. If you want to find out what play the diff has i'd jack the back end up on a nice level surface with the auto trans in neutral and with the hand brake off and start moving the back wheel hubs. If there's any slack in the diff you'll soon know. Just be careful when you have the back end off the ground and follow safety procedures!!!

    Regards!
