    Default Climate Control Conversion

    Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone has upgraded to climate control... Basically I wanna know what parts are different between stocko a/c and climate control.
Looking at buying a wrecked Calais and pulling all the climate stuff out for another car.
    Any help appreciated
    Cheers

yeah man done plenty of times before. just swap the complete hvac box ( big black box behind your dash), it will require you to remove you dash completely, two bolt in the engine bay, and a few in various places around it. then the solar sensor that located in the middle of the demister vent covers, the ambient air temp sensor located drivers side infront of the radiator. and the vacuum solidnoid block an a few small sensors around it. and you'll have to patch a few wires and re-gass your aircon. you can get a climate system out of either a vr or vs.

yes that is another possible option, not to hard either, just make sure you get the loom, keyfob and matching bcm to suit that way everything will work!

i myself used a vs bcm in a vn s2 with the original vn ecu and got security etc working as i had a manual i didn't want the extra expense of a vs manual ecu.
