VS starting troubles

Hi my commodore had some troubles today tempreture got to just over half and then wen i stopped went into shop for 5 minutes and come back out to start the car and it was like the battery was dead sort of exept there is a brand new battery and the starter moter was fine it was like there was to much compresion then i took one of the leads of and it started then was fine cant work out wat it could be any help would be greatly apprieciated

sounds like the CAS is on its way out.

check your error codes to see if its logged something. theres a how-to on checking your codes.
