Climate control fan probs?!

Ok peeps my climate control (heater/air-con) fan keeps working even when i turn the bloody thing off!
I can take my key out of the ignition and lock the car and it still working (on)!!
Was fine driving around earlier it did turn off when i'd turn the ignition off, or even hit off for the cc??

went under the bonnet and pulled out 30amp (blower) fuse from the small fuse box and it would stop the fan, and the fuse is fine also?

done an error code check and no codes came up?

I can switch the mode to feet/face etc and the amb and circulation buttons work also, but the fan speed is stuck on 2 where i last left it, the speed symbols 1,2,3 come up but yeah no response?

any1 no a solution or any1 else encounter this prob before?

yeah mate your resistor is fried. its the one that sits under wiper plastic panel. it could also have melted the plug on the fan plug on the under your dash also.
try either fixing or getting a new climate control resistor then go from there.

ok cheers mate.. i'll give it crack, got another cc unit here, if it stills keeps playing up ill sus out them plugs and even change the resistor...
i'll let you know how it all goes anyways, thanks again mate.....
