double din head unit in vr exec.

hey i really want to install a double din pioneer avic head unit into my 94 vr executive. however i cant find any information on how to do it or if its posssible? i have installed a few head units in my time i just want to know if it will fit.

Unless its a really shallow headunit you are fitting, it will foul on your heater box.

How easy is it to move the heater box? Is it even possible?

I dont know, it would be a dash out job. I would just cut the heater box to suit and seal it up with silicon/tape/plastic

I've seen it done a handful of times. LOTS of work to get it in. Would help if you were handy with fibreglass as well

i was gonna do it to mine but decided it'll look too rough, i was gonna chop the middle part out and put that on the top of the radio, i think it'll stick out a wee bit. i decided on a single din in the end to make life easier. anyone want my double din dvd screen?
