new head unit

hey guys i need a new head unit for my 94 vr exec. i was lookin at getting a single din with a flip out dvd player/touch screen. can you suggest a few budget ones for me?

for a budget unit that is still pretty decent get a clarion..

well stick to anything branded.. so pioneer, sony, clarion, kenwood, jvc, etc.

just go into jb hi-fi, autobarn, repco, brisbane car radio (strathfield) and have a play with those units...
try get a deal that includes install...

Pioneer is my fav, been the one to last longer than most brands I have had....

I had a Kenwood that kept going for 5 years plus till the car was sold with good resolution.

My Sony unit died a few months ago after 18 years service so couldn't really fault that.

Replaced it with a Pioneer unit with iPod control and love it.

Save some dollars on paying for an install, do it yourself with the guide on this forum (I used it and it was pretty easy) and put the savings towards a better unit.
