Default Converting front of a VR to a VT, need conversion advice please.

I am converting the front of my VR sedan to a VT. I have a VR statesman bumper and was told I would need to get VT headlights to go with it which seems simple enough, but I also need a conversion kit.

This is where I am stumped. I am thinking along the lines that I will need a conversion kit for the headlight wiring? Is this right? I spoke to the boys at Autobarn when I was getting my paints etc today and they had no idea.

Will I also need any sort of conversions or adjustments made to physically fit the bumper to my VR? Or will it pretty much screw into and attach to the same places the VR bumper did?

I am debating if it is going to be worth it in the long run?

My car is being completely changed from white and pink, to black inside and out with a hint of green inside. So I don't want to waste my time and effort prepping and painting the VT bumper black and its never going to fit or look good, when I can just easily keep the one I have and spray that black.

    Thanks in advance.

Really? That's why I thought I would ask here before I go buying headlights etc etc. Initially the front was for my VR wagon Ive been doing up, but Ive given that away and thought Id put the VT bumper on the sedan. But in my head today Im trying to picture a VT front but VR back? It's not sitting right with me if you know what I mean?

yeah that sounds like it would look odd. plus as lance2560 said they are completely different sizes and shapes, i can tell that just from looking at my mums vt and comparing it to my vs..

It shocks me that you got this far before actually taking the time to think about what you are doing
