Hey guys,
Ive just installed Cruise control onto my VS manual.
The car is running an acclaim body loom with acclaim BCM
i just fired up the car and the cruise light (orange one) is staying on when the ignition is turned off.
it also appears the cruise itself wotn power on once the cars running..
The brake button appears to be in fine.
Any ideas?

Do you have a brake switch on both clutch and brake?
As for being powered on all the time - you have the wires wrong for sure. The power sould be from the ign side to the switch - you must have power direct from the battery some how.
When testing the cruise you can by pass the brake switch by extending the wires so you can hold them together (bypassing the brake switch) - BUT this is very dangerous if you cant turn the cruise off in the first place.
Sort the power to the on button first. Then test the brake switch.

One more thing. The battery light keeps staying on when the car is running.
The car starts fine so i assume the light is indicating a fault in the system somewhere.
Can anyone give me a idea what to look for?
