    Default monroe shocks help!!

    hey guys
    just picked up a set of monroe struts and opened the box and saw a sticker on the side saying ( vt with abs )
    will these be any trouble when it comes to fitting into my vs

    Id be ringing them up and asking if they sent you the wrong item. I would assume VT wouldn't fit VR. D:
    Current ride: 94 VR Commodore Wagon, Series 1 engine in a Series 2 body.
    Wheels: VE SS 19's custom machined to fit VR.

    When i got my Monroe GT Sport Struts for my ute, they came with instructions if they were being fitted to a car with abs, they still fitted without as well.

    You got the right ones. Mine said the same thing.

    Yep mine also said the same thing, is only to do with the VT having a different way of mounting the brake lines

    Oo sweets then kinda got a bit worried as it took a while to pick them up I shall sleep peacefully tonight

    just put my shocks in all went well. couldnt take any pics as it was to dark
    but here is a pic of the sticker i was talking about

    yer nahh its fine mate, that sticker is for the special zip tie inside, its to clip the abs line to the strut but yer dw, i got them on my vs ute and there fine.

    Love it how Monroe was so stingy with the old GT Gas box :P

    I installed my front struts today.. took a while but the ride feels alot better than the old ones:
