94 Model VR Commodore V6 Executive Series 2 Wont Start

Hey i have a problem getting my VR commodore to start. The car has been sitting in the garage for about a month...yet i started the car no dramas about 2 weeks ago the battery went near dead so i got a new battery and topped the fuel up....all the lights, central locking etc work no dramas....but the car when i try to start it just makes a click click click click click noise really quickly and engine parts at the front dont seem to be cranking over at all only on odd occasions will they move only slightly most the time not at all this is really giving me the shits as i only started it a few weeks ago and never had this problem before could water maybe in the engine somewhere be the cause or something else i have no idea any help would be great cheers

that clickclick noise has got somthing to do with the battery, try another battery

i just put a new battery in and still makes the noise someone suggested i tap the starter motor? any ideas

try jump starting it, if it fires it's the battery....my mates car did the same thing not long ago and it was the battery we managed to jump start it, other from the battery i dont know, more experienced people on here should get back to u shortly...(try a jumpstart off a vehicle not one of them gay mobile jumpstarters)

i have a got new battery in her and a jump starter generator thing hooked up when i try to start her she just gives me the clicking noise like shes trting to fire but doesent turn over the engine

All good now got her goin
