trans slipping ???

hey guys....

sometimes when i take off at the lights and rev past say 3 grand the car just doesnt wanna go anywhere.... it stays at like 3 500 grand and just doesnt go... ill have my foot flat and it wont be going anywhere ( pull over turn the car off turn it back on and its fine ) yet sometimes when i do the exact same thing it revs all the way to red line ( 6 grand )... its weird and i dont kno if its my diff or trans ??

any1 with any ideas

i an having the exact same problem with mi vs and cant work out what it is???????

have you checked to see if you have enough trans fluid in there?? if it gets low you will loose drive.

Agree with bandit the first thing you should do is check the oil level and colour.

its going into limp home mode will take off in 3rd gear when it does check error codes
