    Default VR O2 sensor

Before anybody says 'Search', I'm just after a simple answer from anybody that is willing to help. While driving my 'new' 94 VR, the check engine light came on.. But only ever over 80 km/h. Anyway.. After paperclipping the ALDL connector out threw me error 13.

Earthing problem with possible fix or just replace it? Where am I able to get genuine holden parts around Maitland/Newcastle area?

Mine is doing exactly the same and throwing 13 fault code....it means it is going open circuit or its going to a much higher resistance than what is considered within the normal limits...yep new sensor needed...only drama is how much you want to spend.....if ebay is your source I was planning on using a 4 wire vs one and joining up to the existing plug and wiring for around 50 bucks or go totally plug and play for 30 bucks more .....2 wire ones are a bit cheaper if your car uses that type...give away is how far away the sensor is from the engine if its near the cat it will be the 4 wire type as it needs a heater for it to operate properly......if its just clear of the exhaust manifold it will be 2 wire.
This is my vr that I rebuilt ....CLICK HERE to see my vr on Cardomain ......if you want to check it out......Anyway make sure you rubbish a ford daily ....I am a 4DH8RZ Club lifetime member .................new members joining everyday

After going to all the big name stores, and could only get a 4 wire universal one which then has to be wired up, I went to a small car parts place here in the Bay,
and would you believe they had one that had the square 4 wire plug on it and for only $55 I believe it was a NGK brand as well.
Anyway had it fitted up last week and that took care of my error code 13, now just gotta fix codes 21 and 22

Hi people, i had the same issue as most of you, i have the VR V6. I got my self a universal o2 sensor, I put it in my self. Its a few months old now. But why would it be giving me the no signal code 13 ??

I under stood the two white wires the sensor has, could go either way? And i put black with black, and grey with grey.

    Any Help??

    Pete
