where is the egnine number on Ecotec V6?

I found a picture in the VT-VX forum showing it at the front behind the pulleys. I have looked there
with a bright torch, but I can't see it. It is not much chop if you have to remove a bloody
pulley to read the number.

It will be there, just hard to read.
Near the idler pulley under the coil pack/DFI mount.

Try using a mirror.

Its there give it a wire brush then get under the car and look up.
