New look engine parts

Hi Guys.

Finally got around to do some painting.I'll post pics up once i've got it all back together,just got to get some new rocker cover gaskets first.Here's a quick look....

Yeah looks good, do the "SEQUENTIAL INJECTION' in black letters too.

yeah, tell me about it, I've done two now. The smaller letters are quite easy, just takes a lot of time/patience, that's all. There's photos of mine in my profile.

Thank you, yeah I enjoy sittin down for ages just stuffing around with that sort of thing. I'm one of those blokes that gets more pleasure out of DOING mods and improvements, than using/enjoying the finished product, lol.

Wow, that looks awesum! Well if you havn't clear-coated your red ecotec covers yet, then I reckon the small lettering done in that black would just finish the job off nicely. Personal pref of course.

Have you priced the rocker cover rubbers yet? I want to paint mine but not sure how much the rubber seals are.

they look awesome, now I want to do mine but I ain't to good when it comes to painting, just a question though my car is getting resprayed is it possible to use the left over paint for the engine and rocker covers or would I need a hi heat resistant paint?

I went to Resene's automotive divison got them to make up my paint code F112 diablo red.Told him what i was going to do,so he gave me some hardner,thinner,paint and spray can kit.and the rest is history.They look orange in the pic,but they are red!! Good luck.

I used heat proof paint for mine just for piece of mind, but I've read on this forum many posts where people have just used ordinary Enamel.
