VS V6 low rev torque issue

hey i have a vs executive when i accelerate hard i get a thumping, gurgling sort of sound from the exhaust most commonly when going uphill. it has a 2 1/2 inch sports thought this may causing the problem as the motor is very standard but it only happens when it wants to and the sound goes away when i hit aroung 2 n 1/2krpm any ideas would be great.

Also the problem is progressivly getting worse

ah well i replaced the o2 senson and that seems to have fixed the problem but as i said it only happens when it wants to so only time will i geuss butr cheers anyway
