will a series 1 vs v8 gearbox fit a series one vr v8?
ok so i think my vr staesman gearbox is not guna hold up much longer and i cant afford to rebuild mine atm so im just wondering will a series one vs v8 gearbox fit my stato? and yes i have searched the site but cant seem to find a straight answer
and please only advice from people that know for sure wether it will fit or not as i would like a 100% correct answer before i waste my money on nothing

yea the vs is a 5hdd and most vr's are 4hdd's

yea so can u rewire or change the plugs? from what ive read the plugs still connect but one has 12 pins and the other has 13??

you probably could rewire it, you would also need to replace the memcal with one to suit the VS transmission
