i hear theres a few guys here on JC who do memcal tunes, who's good for tuning a VR V6 (buick 3800) Auto? Looking to get the usual increased fuel economy and power...
None of the regular people do it any more and you have slim chance of getting a reply back. Just go to Mace Engineering's website and order one of there tunes. I have had no issues with it with my VR V6. Plus you will be supporting a site sponsor.
im still around just busy

I didn't mean it in an offensive way if that's the way you took it delco. I just thought rather then overloading you and greeenfoam. Mace do the same thing and their a business.

ok say three VR's with exactly the same specifications had a memcal tune done, one by greenfoam, one by delco, one by mace, would the 3 VR's perform differently post tune, or would they be very similar, with the only difference being the man behind the tune?
im sure they would all react totally different depending on tuner

Mace use multiple tuners so you could even get a Mace tune and it would be different between each one.
Are tunes a once off thing? meaning i'd get it tuned to suit all proposed performance modifications, even if i was take mods one at a time, over the course of a year, if not longer. Or would i require a retune each time i add a new performance modification?
Depends on the company. Some companies supply a generic tune that will work with everything and others tune to suit the modifications. If that makes sense.
