Question drain brake oil now im stuffed

vr 94 commodore v6 hi guys i think i left some thing out my brake oil had crapola in it so i drained an pumped all the oil out ,then put some high quality dot 4 in it bleed the fronts then as i was going to do the back , i thought about abs ,it has a different dash cluster in it so i dont think the car has abs so i just left it as is before i wreck something so what i need to know is if i dont have abs do i still just bleed the back as normal or if i do have abs whats a safe way i can do it at home without abs scan tool or the safest way to get it to a mechanic an how much, an when i got my diff done they just bled them manually is that right.

If the car has ABS, the brake booster has a black plastic cover over it that says ABS - its pretty hard to miss.

Also, Im not sure what you would consider to be 'the normal way' - you should have actually started from the rear.

technically speaking, air bubbles may not bleed from the valves in the ABS module properly, unless the pump is cycled.

When you bleed your brakes, start with the caliper furthest from the master cylinder and work your way forwards. So it goes rear left, rear right, front left, front right. Also, the one man bleeder kits from supercheap are pretty good.

To be honest with ya, if ya dont know how to tell the difference if you have ABS or not you really shouldnt be doing the job yourself. Get a pro to do it. If it aint done properly even if you thought you were doin it right, dont risk killin yaself or others.
    No offence meant matey.

Next time the go is drain the reservoir by syphoning it out refill with fresh fluid and then do the bleeding thing keeping it topped up as you go...that way you wont get air into the system.
