VR V8 auto > Manual question.
Howdy,
Me and a mate or going to be converting is VR to manual next weekend.
Just wondering wether or not the ECU is different or the memcal can be reprogramed to suit. Or wether any of that is 100% necissary.

you can just slap tape over the engine light and crank the idle screw open a little bit is the cheapest way.2nd best way reprogram ecu with no error codes and may as well add some omph while its getting that done . best way get manual loom to stop stalling issues and gain some economy back.
I tune the oldschool way fear on the passengers face and knuckle colour cant go wrong

nah its easy will start and run and drive on auto wiring and ecu need to wire in the speedo sensor so the dash works apart from that wind up the idle screw so it doesnt stall when you clutch in while rolling.read the vr manual conversion thread explains all the wiring for speedo
