    Question vr freak times

hey all have worked vx engine and t5 in a vr with full vs statesman boby loom and vs t5 engine loom and ecu, it runs really well, but the other day i jump started my other car and all was fine turned it off left for a bit and got in it later and started it but the terminal was loose and lost all power so i tightened the terminal and car works fine but went twice as hard as usual like it used to go in the vn it was in, it was setup for a drift car. so after that happened i seen what the vr really does thought sweet got in it the next day and back to normal, so i replaced the puel pump with a goss one and fuel filter, done the tps with a genuine one and done 2 new bosch oxy sensors and new plugs leads oil filter OTR cai. checked all the conections on the engine thinking it was a electrical problem?? any ideas thanks heaps guys

Id guess it just reverted to some super-rich safe mode tune when it lost power, then gradually sorted its self out. You had a tune done to suit the mods?

I dunno, you really wanna get a dyno tune on that thing man. I found the same with my VR, once you start doing stuff like improving flow through your heads they do things like that.

theres not much more i can think of that will cause a problem i have no engine light but that doesnt mean much it is booked in at holden to get put on their computer gear and take it from there if something needs to be replaced ill do that and i got quoted 800 for dyno tune sounds cheap u get what u pay for as the saying goes but my volts of the dash are 11.9 on full load but wouldnt think that would do much but im making a bigger earth cable from the battery to the body and see what that does, when this engine and box was in the vn it was a vs auto loom and computer with half the sensors not hooked up and cut and joined stuff everywhere but it loved it was expecting so much more doing it properly. well see after the tune i guess if its still crap ill piss it off and go back to the vh and vk's cant beat a carby

If the terminal was loose it may of lost connection, thus the computer re learning itself over again. When you turned the car on again after tightening the terminal do all the dials have a fit?

if its only showing 11.9 volts she wont run to well fuelpump wont flow the same injectors dont open as fast spark isnt as strong the list goes on ide check voltage at the battery with a voltmeter with car running should be around 14 volts

after i tightened the terminal it started fine and reved a little high and dropped pretty quick back to idle, and as for the battery after jump startig it may have boosted a bit more charge maybe? ill have a look today and check connections and battery condition and beef up the earth to the body it looks like it has been getting a bit hot
