    Default vs 5.0 ignition problem??

    just the usual car konked out asuming its the module thingy on the inner guard car has done less then 190000 does that sound about right and does anyone in melbourne reco these thingys?

    yeah mate bound to be, u can pick them on ebay for like 100, pretty sure most ppl charge 150-300 to reco them. i always have a spare in my car just in case.

    or, hall effect sensor, or coil.. or fuel pump...

    does it have spark? more info would be good?? what did it do when it died? did it start again? will help narrow down the fault

    Ignition module is easiest to test if you can get hold of a spare. Coil is a bit of a bugger to change out.

    yer well it just stopped. i pulled the module thingy out and pulled the backing plate off it and it smelt burnt, its not the fuel pump cause i can still hear it, and im not to sure about the coil but im hoping it isnt cause i couldnt even find it lol its so tight back there lol and i have big hands,

    where do i find a reco module?

    if you dont have a mate with one you can borrow id start with the cheaper options 1st, does it have spark?
