    Default Over heating VR

On this issue, my misses Vr berlina is only occasionaly runing hot. I can go on long drives or be siting in traffic and most of the time the temperature is normal or cold, then out of the blew, like once a month she tells me it ran hot and over heated on a freezing day. I have bled and re- bled the system so many times, it has clean coolant, and a new radiator and radiator cap, also replaced with a new thermostat all only a few months old, and still once in a few weeks it will run hot. I check the coolant weekly and it is always unchanged and doesnt use any water, so i am pretty sure that head or head gasket isnt stuffed, also has clean engine oil, and the thermo fans do kick in, so i dont think there is a problem with the thermos, this has got me stuffed....anyone have any ideas??

So if i read this correctly. It doesnt run hot for you, but only for her? If so, could it be her driving method?

Also forgot to mention, have you checked the intake?

nah definately not that mate, cause she takes it easy when she is driving it, i`ve even thrashed it and it doesnt run hot for me, it just doesnt do it often and i am neally out of ideas. The one thing i am thinking of is maybe it has a faulty thermo sensor if they even have one, and im thinking that maybe when it is runing hot the thermo isn`t kicking in all the time as it should?

\Other then that, check the hoses for leaks, i think using the presure test tool i think its around 15PSI and see if they pressure drops. Thats about all i can think of as i dont know the buicks that much.

no problems with hoses either, we got another motor put in at the start of the year, and hoses were replaced also with new ones, i have double checked that they are all still tight and dont leak, i check the oil and water levels every w/end, and there is not a sign of any loss of coolant. Now maybe it has a crack in the head, who knows, but if that was the case im sure i would get water in oil, or it would be going through the water. Im even thinking of just buying chemy weld and just putting it in and see if anything changes.
