recently the water pump broke and i got towed back home and replaced it the next day. now when i start the car the idle varies from 200 to about 1200 and it sounds like the engine splatters and misses when its running and the temp gauge goes up to about half way when it used to always sit below quarter??? any advice what could be the problem?
Id say its an AIR lock in the water system because you temp sencer is at the top of the motor, get it hot and bleed it slowly, The idle sounds like a ACC controler or a vacum leak. Check your plugs etc, they make problems even when there just off synk.
