HI guys,
Ive got myself some VZ Lumina ones (found out after extensive googling what they were lol).
They came with really bad scrubbed tyres (on the insides of the tyre).
Ive put them on my VR as the VR pretty much doesnt leave the driveway while Im doing her up so the tyre condition wasnt a real issue yet.

Anyway the steering is a bit funny when I took it around the block for a test run after putting the rims on.
My first thought is it is the cruddy tyres and Im going to go get some new ones friday.

But playing on my mind has been something I was told when I was eyeing off some very different 18 inch rims. I was told that some VR's have a different suspension set up and rims can rub the strut thingy and spacers may be required. Also I read on the JC forums that sometimes the genuine holden rims may need machining to fit other cars.

So naturally it's playing on my mind that I need to do something else to these rims and maybe its not just the tyres?

So to get to my point... do you think it is likely my 17 inch VZ rims will be fine on my 94 VR with just some new tyres?

I previously had VX SS 17's on with no problems and had assumed things would be the same for these ones being the same size and all.

Thanks
