hey all i have a vs commodore V6 auto i was wondering how do i go about checking my fuel pressure to make sure everything is running correct cheers. I believe i have a miss i also would like to know can coil packs be checked to make sure they are running correctly cheers all
You will need a high pressure fuel pressure gague designed to use with EFI systems. Best get a mechanic to do it as the gagues are expensive.
I doubt that your miss is fuel pressure related. More likley to be ignition related.
If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?
I'd agree with RX25SE - sounds like ignition. First replace plugs and then leads. If still there test coil packs but do the easy things first. Good Luck.

i have a problem with my fuel pump fuse draining my battery when the car is off the fuel pump is the original so its quite old now im wondering if i should just replace it
people have also suggested its the oil pressure switch that could be faulty but wouldnt the computer log a error code if that was the case
no it wont have any error codes for the oil pressure switch

Not to sound stupid but how would unplugging the sensor prove if it's faulty or do you mean the drain on the battery from the fuse
