Default what are these rattling noises

hi guys just wondering if anyone would know why the my calais is making rattling noises coming from the front of the car when going on rough roads ive put lowered performance shocks and kingsprings in the front so im thinkin maybe a busher kit would be the way to go and replace all of them. I know my engine mounts are worn and need replacing so could this be the reason? It would be great to hear anyone elses opinion on the issue

    cheers

Sounds exactly like you need new strut mount bearings to me. $29.00 each.

    Fixed my problem.

Are you talking about those circle things with bearings in them that sit on top of the shocks? they fell apart when I chnged the shocks but put them back together with all the bearings back in them?

have you checked your sway bar link bushes?, with the car on a flat surface open the drivers door and rock the car side to side pushing on the roof just above where the door closes, if you can hear the same noise it might be time to replace your sway bar links.

the bearings looked brand new man like seriously brand new as if they had just been put in and I dont understand how a bearings can make a clunking noise when driving on rough roads but from what i've been told its probably the control arm bushers
