    Default Fuse box relocation

I just embarked on relocating the fuse box from the engine bay to the boot of my vs acclaim... Big job lol

I've seen them in the glove box but I've never seen it In the boot before..

Hopefully if all goes well I'll post up some pics of the finished product

I'd like to see pics too. Guessing the easiest way would be to make up a loom first and lay it whereever you can see it fitting under the carpets and sils ect... and then doing a full wire for wire re-termination.

Well that's it... I'm hoping to cram it all under the drivers side sill.. Then the fuse box and the battery will be housed in a hidden section of the boot on the drivers side.. All the wires going to the engine bay on the drivers side have been pulled back through the firewall and will be run inside the guard, under the radiator, etc out of sight

only probs i can see is VD with cables been that long. things like headlights, starter, thermo fan etc that use alot of current may not work as efficiently as they should. make sure you use cable that is larger diameter than what is there, and make sure all the connections are 100%.

but from an aesthetics POV, should come up rather nice, and still easy to access and work on.

Its only around 4 meters extra of cable. I would forsee and voltage drop issues if the same gauge that is there now is continued on.

Im getting larger dia cabling for the lot because if that reason exactly

but aesthetically I want to relocate and hide as much as I can In the engine bay.. Then eventually smooth it when I drop a rebuilt 5L into it

Stroked, nice cam mild head work with an aftermarket intake.. Nothing crazy but good for a heated cruise or a dozen lol

hence the relocation.. I want it to look like it doesn't run lol
