VE sv6 into a VS v6

hi, just wandering if anyone has done or if it is possible to put a engine out of a VE sv6 into a Vs v6.
I own a modified VS ute that was converted into a duel cab (it was known as a KING CAB) back in 1996 and it has done almost 500k on 3 motors. As i cannot replace this car I would like to update it.

a guy in tamworth was building them, he made about 6.
I have only ever sean one other that was a v8.
nice job. was considering builting a new one out of a VE but body lines and glass are to hard to line up, thats why I thought of repowering the old girl.
