Adobe coil springs

[1998GTS]

Hi guys.

Can anyone tell me anything about these springs...good,bad.My car is still at the standard ride height,so will these lower it.Thanks for helping.

FE2 height is a tad lower then stock but IRS wont work with your Live Axle Ute.

mate go to pedders dont #### arround with cheap shit all pedders springs are made over here in oz at the melborune plant you get warrenty and they can lower it to what you want

my tip is wait a couple of months then ask them what they have and youll be surprized same with evry one else on here just wait a month

the pedders sports ryderrear(red) irs coils for vp-vz are made in new zealand by tenneco, the same company that makes holdens oe coils, pedders irs touring coils(grey) are made in keysborough. not sure but these adobe coils might be made in the same factory.

if you look at kings, lovells and pedders touring coils the end of the coil where they pig tail dont taper down they are the same saze as the rest of the coil, with exeption to the later kings where the top of the coil taper down. the factory holden and the pedders sports ryder coils taper at both the top and bottom of the coil. if these adobe coils are like this there made by tenneco.

they will be dobinsons or dobi sports as they are called Dobinsons Spring & Suspension not too bad a spring

Ok thanks guys.He has some FE 2's as well.So which is going to be better to lower the car from that standard height.

it all personal choise, some people like them as low as they can get them and some people just like fe2 height, thats up to you. do you know what color the coils are, the dobinsons are a aqua green color.
