    Default vr trans converters

just after some info on the converters on the 5hdd trans, are they the same as the 4hdd. i know the 5hdd has pwm lock up. does this affect the converter

i have a vr with a 5hdd and im changing the converter to a 4hdd unit (not the whole trans, so the 5hdd trans will in the end have the 4hdd converter). im just hoping there the same.

i have issues and im hoping a diffrent converter will solve my issue, as im pulling the motor out at the moment to reseal the sump.

why dont you just brace the engine and lower the K frame to chabge the sump gasket? heaps easier and quicker than pulling the engine out.

because i wanted to replace the torque converter also.
its funny all the sump bolts were loose and some were missing. thats were the oil was going.......

now its done i still have a vibration in the engine. so now i can rule out harmonic balancer, torque converter, balance shaft timing, oil pump, the whole electrical system. next would be checking the compression.
