Vs manual question

Hey guys just wondering. I have an auto vs and
I've been told you can put a vn vp
manual box into a vs if you change the bell housing.
Just wanna know if it's true or not.

vn, vp, vr, vs S1 are all the same gearboxes. T5 5-speed

mines a vs series 2.
so do i need to swap the bell housing for the vn vp box to fit??

No, the bellhousing will bolt up, but you will need a VS T5 flywheel, or an aftermarket one. The 8 bolt flywheels from the VN-VR 6's are balanced differently.
