97 vs power steering not working

gday i recently bought a 97 vs everything is perfect except when im idoling the power steering dosent work properly its real stiff well basically you dont have power steering im not the most mechanically minded if anyone can help out it'll be much appreciated and also the radio dosent work properly it comes on but wont do anything and i cant tune it in to any station any in put will be very appreciated cheers

is there any leaks when the engine is idling? does power steering operate normally when driving? whilst driving can you turn the wheel with 1 finger?

When the car is stationary it will be harder to turn the wheel, obviously due to the grip of the tyres.

put a cassette into the head unit if its a factory one or a CD if not, if it plays all good and its the aerial that needs to be checked & traced to the head unit. if not, probably isnt connected to the speakers.

theres no leaks and its perfect while im drving just when it idols it rock solid could it be the pumps weak cause when i rev it it works fine

is there fine bubbles in the reservoir car in park and turning the steering wheel from lock to lock? does it groan as you turn the wheel? you might have air in the system, i would bleed the system just to rule this out.

Whats showing on the radio display when its turned on ? It might need the radio secutity code to be entered if someone has disconnected the battery recently.

on the deck screen all it shows is 2 numbers one in the top left and on in the bottom right my brother said something about the security code how would i get the code for it
