    Default Car stalls when put into reverse?

    hey guys
    ive noticed sometimes in my vr v6 auto
    when the car is warm and ive been driving it for a while if im driving stop and put it into reverse the revs either drop and nearly stall or it stalls.
    what could this be?

    how long since you've changed the spark plugs?

    mine ended up being a power steering pump... turns out im always turning whilst I change from drive to reverse (whilst parking etc) ... my p pump was on its last legs and struggling and all the extra load made it conk out.... i cant say for sure as it only happened occaisionally so i thought nothing of it... when my p pump died completelyand i replaced it... the car hasnt stalled since...

    try holding the wheel straight and not turning at all or putting any load on the pump whilst going into reverse

    i changed the spark plugs probably around 5k ago
    but i havent changed the leads since i bought the car..
    could this be it?
