70mm throttle body

anybody here using this particular tb from this seller? looking at getting one for my manual vr 5l but heard some of these cause all sorts of problems with idle. hoping some members here have purchased this and could provide some feedback on any issues they might have had.

hey man. i have one of them but on an auto VS V8. and i also had it on a VR V6 Berlina. never had an idle problem but on the auto the transmission seems to sorta slip a bit on both cars between gear change and not sure why. i have tried changing the TPS and everything but nothing has worked. but since you have a manual im sure you'll get nothing but fun outta it.

You will need to get a tune with it esp if auto or the gear changes will be all over the place, delco did a good as tune for mine and had not 1 problem with the larger tb, good luck

Do it. If it doesn't get the result you want then sell it. Being a manual you won't have any dramas. A tune will get the most out of it though.

thanks guys. the tune will come eventually when i get more work done. will it work ok without a tune for now? or should i just wait and get all the stuff together with the tune
