Hey I want to fit oval clear indicators to my vr withsquare ones...do I need to cut anything or will they go straight in
They go straight in
As said before straight in. Just be careful with the clips because they do get old with age (assuming you have second hand oval ones of course)

Is there a way to fix them in so they don't get stolen ??
I have wanted to get some for my VR, but have seen and read about them being easy to remove.
Besides super gluing them on (good luck changing bulbs) there really isn't much you can do.

Pretty sad if some one steals them. Surly not, they're like $15.
Actually someone stole my clear indicators off my VS one night. I came out to see the wires dangling.
Bastards.
What a bunch of dero's. You can go to any wrecking yard in Australia pretty much and take them off the VT's for nothing.

The cretins are after the clear ones though.
Perhaps use silicon to glue them in rather than glue? Will be easier to take them out if a globe needs replacing, just grab a razor blade and carefully slice through it.
Then clear off all the silicon left and re-do it![]()
Good luck getting silicon off the panels though...

If its done neatly, then it shouldn't be too hard.
Also when changing to clear lenses, don't forget to put in orange/amber bulbs.
I super glued mine, silicon is a nightmare on panels. With the super glue I used, its strong enough to give the impression it's somehow screwed on but obviously isn't. The glue on panel peels off like butter.
Rugular silicon rust's your car. Better off using somthng like quickgrip or any other contact adhesive. You can however get silicons minus the chemical that rusts your car to use aswell.
At under $15 a pop, I'd rather the scum take them instead of damaging the car because they're glued on.
Try Sikaflex, will not rust the car (neutral cure) and you will NEVER get them off!!
