Default crashed!! new k frame?? what other damamge have i done??

    Hey guys,
I drive a '94 VR Executive, just got my P's 2 months ago and already crashed it, so i'm pretty shattered.
I slid into a gutter going around a corner, i wasn't trying to hoon i just didn't slow down enough. I know it was stupid but there's not much i can do about it now except fix the thing.
I need to know whats been broken, an estimate of costs for parts and repairs and how easy some of it would be to do myself.
I'm 18 so i don't have a great deal of cash to blow on it so i want to do as little as possible.

I was hoping to get a k frame from the wreckers and get a mechanic to fit it, then buy new linkpin and bushes and fit them myself.

The front right wheel has been pushed back against the guard.

I don't have a great deal of knowledge about the mechanics of cars but after doing some research I've found that i have broken my k frame but not sure what else could be damaged.
    here's some pics

I'm also not to sure if the left wheels moved as well

Your input is really appreciated, so thanks for taking the time to look at this

with the wheel that far back i think you would have also bent your control arm, z bar, possably bend your steering knuckle and strut at minimum, also i would be changing your wheel bearing aswell. hopefully because it has torn the x-member it hasnt bent the studs that hold it to the chassis, i would even be looking if the chassis is bent.

Id be suggesting basically the same as glenn l above. K frame, lower control arm, radius rod, wheel bearing, strut and has probably also crushed the top strut bearing.

Oh and that front drivers wheel has taken a pretty hard hit. Its quite likely this rim is buckled too.

Looking at that i would simply go to a wreckers and pull out an entire strut/hub assembly and leave the control arms attached aswell so when you go to the counter you get it all. Grab a new k frame too. Price one at the wreckers, but it may be cheaper to try ebay ect... if you got time.

also yes it does look like your lh wheel is back, and if your going to go to a wrecker and get the parts yourself try and get the part that are still in the car so that you can see if there is any damage to the frt of the car its coming out of. where abouts in melbourne are you?

If you cant do the work yourself mate, I would advise you start looking for another car.

It could just be a K frame and a new strut thats required - but If you go through and start replacing wheel bearings and all the other stuff mentioned above its going to begin to add up.

i didn't realize it was that much damage... i thought it coulda just been the control arms and k frame, also i'd needa swap the wheel.
I live around in forest hill/blackburn, but my car is currently stuck at my dads place in northcote. was hoping to get it towed here this week.
If i went to the wreckers to grab the stuff would i be able to pull it out of the bottom or would i need to hoist the engine?
My mates boss said he could put a k frame in for 300, i'm not sure if thats cheap or not, if i got that done would it be drivable so i could get it back to mine to do the rest myself or would i have to tow it again?
also what price range am i looking at??
    thanks guys
