VS had usual probs cutting out while driving.Replaced plugs,leads.O2 sensors, cleaned CAS Car ran fine.Has devel a miss at all speeds.Ran a visual with timing light on leads.left bank firing what seems to be twice speed of right bank(.Found miss on No2)What gives with firing speed???
Just found potshots 007 thread .Had another look.Mine is the opposite bank 246 They are missing so badly it only looks like it.s firing slower. This might point to the problem as it's a different bank
Regards Ken Going to check on potshots007 thread

The plugs fire every revolution as you have 3 coils so that's normal. Re the ones that appear to only fire once, I'd replace the leads and plugs on that bank.

Thanks hako I had already replaced plugs leads & O2 sensors Ran fine for couple of day before this new miss prob started ,potshots007 had same problem on the other bank 3/4 years ago but I could find no result.Surfing net I've found his name & town Used white pages & found his Ph No.Haven't been able to contact yet but if he solved his prob I'll list it.
Dude you shouldn't stalk people off the forum.
Its weird to have a spark problem on one bank as the coils have twin posts, one on each bank so it can't really be coil or DFI related me thinks. Is there any other differences between the banks, different brand of lead, plug, bad earth ?..
Don't call me i'll call you.
Ive got the same prob on 2,4,6, Its odd just started one day and has been like it since. Got big leads (TopGun 9mm) Big earth x2 (relocated coil packs) and been through all the plugs and changed a few arround but still the same. Could it be anything to do with the wiring into the coils from the loom? Shorting out, broken, old etc.

Check it at night - in the dark - have engine idling and look for blue/orange sparks.

Do you mean look for sparks comming off the leads or coils etc, Like eathing past a plug or cracked lead?
