When my steering wheel is turned all the way to the left or the right my car stalls or shakes really badly.
Any ideas?
thanks.
Turn it into a drag car and weld the steering straight!
Maybe the idle speed control motor is not responding to the load placed on the motor, causing the revs to drop too low.

If the steering wheel is juddering in your hand as you turn it, it may be the bush at the bottom of the steering column needs a lube (search this as it's a very common fault).
If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?
When you turn the wheel all the way to one side it places a lot of strain on your power steering pump and therefore your engine. Perhaps when the steering wheel is on its limit on one side or the other you are continuing to place pressure on the steering wheel, hence the shuddering and maybe the stalling. If your steering pump bearings are getting marginal it could also put more pressure on the engine causing a stall.
As above either the steering pump is shagged or more likely an idle problem. First thing to check is the throttle body and clean out all the crud in the passages to the IAC valve which should help it idle faster
