    Default Camber adjusting bolt

I've just replaced my front shocks and ball joints, now i'm not sure what to do with the "camber adjusting bolt". Gregories manual doesn't explain it at all aside from naming it.

I will be getting a proper wheel alignment but how do i set this so i don't end up with positive camber?

Dont change the adjustment from where it was before.
As you have removed the hub assembly from the strut leg, you should really be getting an alignment when the job is complete.

^^^^^^^^ what he said... do it immediately, not later. Also your toe in/out will be off as well.

Ok thanks, i was just about to go out and change it.

I left the adjustment as it was. Looking along the side of the car the fronts have pretty significant positive camber. It's a bucket of shit to drive, darts and bump steers, very light steering and has very sharp turn in at half lock. I hope all that is just alignment issues, i'm very meticulous with my work.

did you just do up the clevis bolts or did you push the top of you brake disc in at the top so that the adjusting bolt is touching your strut?

if you only changed the struts and bj's and did it the way you said there shouldnt be any more the 1/4 degree of camber change unless your bj's were totaly stuffed.

I changed the strut tops as well. I know the toe is out because the steering wheel is no longer straight.

Oh well i'll get a wheel alignment and see what they can do.

Wheel alignment fixed everything. I got half degree negative camber on the fronts, then i installed my strut brace. It's a weapon in the corners now.
