5litre statesman with running problems

Hi All
Well my statesman is having problems again with running, brother in law drove it last weekend and it broke down on him. got it back to my joint and could hear the fuel pump bubbling, i changed the fuel pump and it started... then it died again so i pulled the fuel pump back out and double checked it was in correctly.. it did start up but really nad missing and carrying on.. i seen that it was running really rich by pulling out the sparkplug and i could smell it behind the car.. I changed the coil as it's the only thing on the ignition and fuel side that wasn't new (lol).. started it up after i replaced it and it ran sweet for about 7 mins at idle while i was getting it to engine operating tempeture then all of a sudded it died again.. Now at the moment it runs but like a bucket off shit.. its running really rich, what should i do next???? i've checked to make sure the Dizzy hasn't moved or anything like that but its got me stuffed on what to do next.. any answers would be great

No Mate not yet.. going to get the scanner onto it tomorrow night..
