Remove the gearbox and the crossmember under the motor.

With the use of an engine support bar.
It runs across the engine bay and sits on the edge of the inner guard. It has a moveble adjusting hook in the middle that supports the motor.

I use this one but there are others.

You need to support the motor across the strut tops with an engine support, so yes, the motor will be hanging from a chain with no support underneath. Its the best way to do it.
