Help - Big Problem?

ok guys, my 94 vr commodore seems to be failing on me lol. just had the radiator changed 2 weeks ago cause it cracked. my car wouldnt start properly, i originally thought it was a worn down key or a dodgey ignition barrel, it started about 7/10 times, but tonight as i was parked on a slight angle my car wouldnt start at all, put the key into on and nothing. before anyone ask its not the starter motor, i noticed as i was turning the key to start i could hear a sound coming from the back, a sort of faint suction noise. im wondering if that means that my fuel pump or something with the fuel is stuffed? the car will start fine on leveled ground.

and another thing, when i turn my car off and keys out of the ignition, my brake lights still come on when u push on the brake pedal, im guessin that isnt normal at all.

could anyone help me with what could be wrong?????

Did the car wind over, but not actually start??

and your brake lights are normal, your headlights will even turn on when the ignition is off..............

Hay I have a vs doin similar but mainly when hot or rainy...has shut down on me coupla times on highway (not cool man) anyhow I was suggested to check fault codes in hope it'll detect the problem..I havent as yet had time to 'play' with mine..but I recommend you do somewhat the same. You can access the codes to your model on the net-are you familiar on how to short the fuses to get a flash code? anyways the noise you are hearing in the rear of the car would be the fuel pump..My guess is whilst you are hearing that sound the pump is priming correctly. If you don't seem to have fuel probs I would not be looking there..yet. Id like to help more but dont wanna lead you up garden path cos i know these things are a blasted headake!!

ye i felt abit stupid with the brake question, i only ask cause no other car ive driven does it but ye haha.

the car didnt do anything, nothing wen i turned it, no sound, a few times i could hear something from the back of the car. i thought the key would be worn down, but it dosent make sense to me since the car wont start unless on leveled ground, therefore im thinkin the angle is probably doing something

does the motor make a "click" noise when you turn the key?

and does your stereo or any dash lights etc turn on???

hi every 1 i got no idea how to make a thread but hope some of u can help me!
yesterday i bought a vr series 2 commy the people i bought it from said the head has gone! car goes hard as and you couldnt tell that the head is gone??? there is no oil in the water or water in the oil all good there the only problem is it kept stalling so today i changed the bcm, coils, leads and plugs also injectors and still stalls every now and then. its idle is irratic the people i bought it from also gave me a invoice which all the work was done 2 days ago cost them 1500 they put a new abs and the brake pedal nearly goes to the floor, there are no visible cracks in the harmonic balancer any suggestions people as to cause of problems p.s have not found any vacuum leaks so far
