Gday guys,

My mate and I are trying to get level 3 backlights in the cluster working in his VS III S pack ute. we have managed to wire the plugs Into the level 2 loom, however we are still having trouble with the lights in the cluster.

We went out and got a berlina headlight switch, tried grafting the wires, checked all the globes in the cluster but it won't light up at all (which makes it hard to see at night). Does anyone have any suggestions, or has anyone else done this conversion? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

The Level 2 and level 3 cluster back lights for the gauges will work without any modification to the loom at all.

So you may have a blown fuse for the gauge lights. Try your Level 2 cluster back in the car and if they work, there is an issue with the level 3 cluster.

thanks mate, on the way home realised it was the fuse, a couple of $ later and it all works
