    Default How much transmission fluid?

Hey folks, I did my transmission filter today and topped it back up with some tranny fluid.

I thought it would take a lot so I put around 2L in there, but the dipstick is showing that its WAY over filled...

Anyone know how much tranny fluid a VS can take from empty?

    cheers.

How are you checking the level then, if yor battery is dead?

Car needs to running, hot and idling in park or neutral before you check the level

Service manual says to add approx 4.8 litres following a fluid change and filter replacement in a V6. You have a long way to go.
