    Default vs v8 won't crank

Hey people my vs v8 won't crank properly. It cranks about a 1/8 of a rotation very slowly and then nothing. Put in a new starter motor and ignition switch and still barely cranks and then stops. Battery is only 6 months old and is fully charged. Cleaned up my battery terminals and clamps and clean up earth on motor and still barely anything. Checked all fuses/fusable links and changed starter relay. Imobiliser light goes off when I turn ignition on so I don't thinks it's an issue with imobiliser. Think the battery loom that goes to the starter might be stuffed how can I test it to check if it is stuffed. Any one have any other ideas. Any info would be appreciated. Cheers.

use jumper leads to effectivly short that + wire out from the battery then crank it. Are you sure the engine to chasis earth strap is good, and the chasis to battery - is good also. You can also prove these by also hooking up the - jumper wire to the engine block back to the battery - terminal.

When you say use jumper lead on positive you mean clamp jumper wire directly from +ve on battery to starter motor? Where is the engine to chasis earth strap? I see the an earth strap from battery -ve terminal to chassis.

The un-insulated one that goes somwhere near the alternator to a bolt not too far infront on the ingnition module on the gaurd there. I had issues with mine cranking slow at times, found as soon as i grabbed the wire it just pulled straight out of the lug If you havnt checked this, then theres a good chance it may be it.
And yes +bat to +starter. and -batt to engine block for the other lead.
