I did a v8 super car experience a month ago, just want to share my views on this.
The drive was done at calder park and I had 6 laps to thrash a 2nd league v8 race car, car had 450 horsies.
They take you on 3 laps after your 8 laps.
I would recommend anyone that enjoys going as fast as I do in a v8 should take up this experience, they teach you about apex and throttling out of corners on a race course, being quite a small race course the 8 laps go quite fast, I paid just over 400 for this and don't regret a second of it, then they take you for 3 laps of awesome fast laps, personally I was looking at his feet wanting to feel more power, however the experience gave me a good experience of how fast it feels on a race course and a general respect for race car drivers.
My top speed down the straight would have been an easy 220 kms an hr, but feels slow being such a wide track, and over taking other drivers felt so good, gave a good race feel.
Consider this a thread to share your race experiences, would love to hear about it

sry, it was 8 laps for anyone that caught me on this. 8 lapswanna be for 400+ dollars.
Are the cars autos or manuals? I really want to do one up here in QLD but I only have an auto license, not that I am bad enough to destroy a racing clutch.
EDIT: Also probably better in the Pub section.

Yer I did one back this time last year at Mallala, best fun, got upto 200 and the thing felt soo stable, would recommend it to anyone!!!
And they have one Auto and the rest are manual! I drove the manual but was told the auto was quicker!
Yea the ones we had were manuals, surprising enough they are quite easy to drive.
good to hear someone had a good experience! all i've heard so far from there has been along the lines of...
"It was shit - the car was slow and they yell at you when you thrash it"
might re-consider![]()
Yeah, suppose it all depends on what company you go with and who your driver is.
